My testimony- God is reliable

Hello sweet sis,

I trust that you were blessed by the last testimony.

So today, I will be bringing on one more testimony, before we move on to other matters. I am hoping that I would eventually have that final release in my spirit to compile them all together. As soon as I am done with that, I will definitely share with you here.

This testimony is about the efficacy of God's word. One thing that I have come to learn in my little walk with God is that God's word has integrity.

So, since I graduated from the University. I desired so much to do my masters degree outside Nigeria. Immediately after graduation, I registered for the necessary examinations. No admission came forth until 2014 (how the admission came is a story for another day😄).

After I secured the admission, funding became a really big issue. However, just at that time, there was an opportunity to apply for a fund in my place of work. I maximized the opportunity and then after several months of waiting, the money was released.

At the point of the money being released, I realized that it was fund for a year, while my masters program was supposed to be for two years.

Wow!!! What am I going to do? Actually, my place of work had in fact paid for two years before everyone realized and then the University had to send back the money for the second year. Funny right?

To cut the whole long story short, getting the second year fees became an issue. How on earth would my parents be able to sponsor my second year, I thought. It was millions of naira. We however came to a conclusion.  We planned that I would save as much as I could when I get there and my parents would also start to save and gather money till it's time to pay for the second year 😂.

With that plan, I set to resume at the University.
On resumption, God gave me two scriptures as my word.

First was:

And He said, “My Presence will go with  you, and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:14 NKJV

Second was:

And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.
Exodus 3:21 NKJV

Let me mention at this point that as soon as I arrived in the University, I heard about a funding for international students which I applied for. I was however told that the funding body only supports, that is, it's never a full payment. I was also told that I will pass through some interview sessions where they will decide my eligibility for the fund.

First year was almost over. Discussions were already ongoing with my parents on how far...lol....I was also expecting a mail for an interview date from the funding body.

Did I get a mail. Yes, I got a mail some weeks before the end of the first year.

Guess what the content of the mail was!!!

I was awarded a total funding for my tuition fees and my living expenses for the second year.

Indeed, God is true to His word. Just according to God's word, I did enjoy rest.

I hope this testimony reminds you again of the reliability of God.

Stay blessed.
