How the Lord preserves His people

It's quite interesting, how God reaches out to us in seemingly uncommon ways. Who would have thought that a children super book story would make so much impression in my heart. I have definitely read the story of the Isrealites from the Bible, and how God brought them out of Egypt. However, watching it in the super book children cartoon made it very simple to understand. Indeed, God has a way of preserving His people. First, I saw how every of the plagues that He sent to Egypt never reached Goshen, the place where the Isrealites dwelled. The one that particularly struck me was this: So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Exodus 10:22‭-‬23 NKJV Did you see that, for three days, the land of Egypt was in darkness, but all the children of Israel has light in their dwellings

How to discover yourself

Hello ladies and girls, It's been a while here. How are you doing? I have been really unsure of whether to post or not, and what exactly to post, considering what the world is experiencing at this time. Every single post I have in mind just feels so out of place at this season. Well, I have decided to move on, and trust the Spirit of God to help me with the right content at this time. The journey of self-discovery began for me about 15 years ago, and up till now, I would say that I never stopped to discover things about myself. This makes me know that self discovery is a continuous process. It never really ends. Growth comes with a lot of experiences, that changes your perceptions and your outlook to life. As you grow therefore, both physicall

These questions resonated my heart as I studied the devotional ' Anchored '. Indeed, God is the anchor of our soul. There is nothing we own that He has not given us and the only thing we can give to show him how much we love him is our worship. Sometimes, life presents us with challenges, but in the midst of those challenges, there is a sure place. God is our sure place, he is our safe place of refuge, a place of rest and a place of comfort. Anchored Devotional, a 4 weeks Bible study  provides encouragement from the scriptures for those times of trials and unpleasant situations. Reading through, I was brought back to the place of recognizing God as my anchor,  to the place of worship and reverence, to that place of trusting God and to the place of meditation. Week 2, Day 4 particularly moved me. It was a study of this scripture: ' It is better to trus
