Understanding Purpose as a young lady 2

Hello sweet,
Christmas in the air 💃
We are back on our purpose series. In case you missed out on part 1, check it here.

Understanding Purpose

There is a general purpose for which God created humans, there is a general purpose for which God created women, and there is a specific purpose why God created you. Today, we will be considering God’s general purpose for humans.

Let’s start from the beginning.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful and, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

After God created man in His own image, he gave them a mandate and an instruction. This is God’s reason for creating man- so that we can bear fruits and multiply upon the surface of the earth. He also wants us to replenish the earth. What does replenish mean? It means to fill up something again, or to restore to a former level or condition. The Lord intended the earth to be a mirror image of heaven. Something happened between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2. God sent Lucifer to earth, and the earth became his domain and his presence  there  made it to be in a state of void and without form.
After creation of so many things on the earth however, God blessed man, and gave him the responsibility of being in charge of the things that he has created and of maintaining the earth and ensuring that it returns back to the initial state that He intended it to be. Even though man fell, and lost the blessings, Christ came for restoration. This means that every man who is in Christ, is blessed and commissioned of the Lord for this purpose -to be fruitful, to multiply and to replenish the earth. Now, notice that the Lord created us in his image. As we carry out this assignments, we have to bear in mind that we are his representatives. We are doing the same things that God would have done if he was resident here on earth.
It is necessary to note that this mandate is as much for a woman as it is for a man. So, as women in Christ, whether single or married, we are blessed and commissioned of the Lord to be fruitful, to multiply and to replenish the earth. Now, if we look at latter part of Genesis, we will see our roles in this assignment as women and next part, we will focus on that aspect.
Only by accepting Christ can man rediscover and experience God’s purpose for creating him. A man in Christ, will be able to fellowship with God and receive specific instructions about how to go about fulfilling the purpose. A man in Christ is also blessed and commissioned for the assignment. It’s a struggle for an ordinary man to fulfil purpose. He might accidentally be doing it, but not out of understanding.

Feel free to drop your comments.
I love you
